The Shelby County Rockets basketball team (Shelbyville, KY), was routed 63-37 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Spencer County Bears (Taylorsville, KY)

The Bears now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Owen County for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14.

The Rockets (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Waggener (Louisville, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Waggener was routed by Jeffersontown (Louisville, KY), 80-63, in a non-league battle.
