The Southeast Valley Jaguars basketball team (Gowrie, IA), was overwhelmed 70-32 in Friday's league battle with the host Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA)
The Rebels now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Emmetsburg for a Twin Lakes battle on Tuesday, January 17. Sioux Central will confront a E'Hawks team coming off a 63-51 non-league win over Northwest Webster (Manson, IA). The E'Hawks record now stands at 7-4.
The Jaguars (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Northwest Webster (Manson, IA). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Northwest Webster was overwhelmed by Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA), 63-51, in a non-league battle.
