The St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks (Greensburg, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA), 81-53 in Friday's non-league test.
The Hawks (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 10-7 record.
The Kittens now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cecilia for a non-league test on Saturday, January 14. Southern Lab will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 49-34 non-league loss to Northwest (Opelousas, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-7.
