Swanton Bulldogs (Swanton, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Wauseon Indians (Wauseon, OH), 61-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Swanton upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Liberty Center (Liberty Center, OH) to play the Tigers in a Northwest Ohio bout on Friday, January 20. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Liberty Center lost 51-44 in their recent league bout against Archbold (Archbold, OH)

Next up, the Indians play the Evergreen Vikings (Metamora, OH) in a Northwest Ohio bout, on Friday, January 20. Wauseon will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Pettisville (Pettisville, OH).
