The Weskan Coyotes (Weskan, KS) basketball crushed the host Triplains/Brewster Titans (Brewster, KS), 69-36 in Friday's league test.

The Coyotes (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Wheatland-Grinnell (Grainfield, KS). The Thunderhawks go into the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Wheatland-Grinnell was trounced by Dighton (Dighton, KS), 61-32, in a non-league test.

The Titans now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Northern Valley for a Western Kansas Liberty test on Tuesday, January 17. Triplains/Brewster will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 69-29 non-league win over Decatur Community (Oberlin, KS). The Huskies record now stands at 7-2.
