Academy for Business & Tech Gators (Melvindale, MI) fans went home happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Old Redford Academy Ravens (Detroit, MI), 2-0 in a league bout.

With the win, Academy for Business & Tech upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Gators host Detroit Community (Detroit, MI) to clash with the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Detroit Community lost 58-19 in their recent league contest against Summit Academy North (Romulus, MI)

The Ravens (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Henry Ford Academy (Dearborn, MI). The Navigators enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record.
