The Northwood Gladiators basketball team (Silver Spring, MD), was nudged 34-30 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD)
The Bengals now possess a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethesda-Chevy Chase for a non-league battle on Monday, February 13.
The Gladiators (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Wootton (Rockville, MD). The Patriots come into the Montgomery County - 4A/3A West battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Wootton edged Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD), 54-43, in a non-league battle.
