With the victory, Mountain View improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Kuna (Kuna, ID) to confront the Kavemen in a 5A Southern Idaho challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Kavemen come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Kuna lost 49-32 in their recent league challenge against Eagle (Eagle, ID)

Next up, the Lions confront the Nampa Bulldogs (Nampa, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Borah will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 55-23 league loss to Rocky Mountain (Meridian, ID).
