Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Byng Pirates (Ada, OK) and the host Plainview Indians (Ardmore, OK), saw Byng's basketball squad knock off Plainview by a count of 51-41.

With the victory, Byng upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Lone Grove (Lone Grove, OK) to play the Longhorns in a Lake Country challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Lone Grove lost 38-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Holdenville (Holdenville, OK)

Next up, the Indians play the Kingston Redskins (Kingston, OK) in a Lake Country challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Plainview will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record.
