Louisiana High School Basketball - Thrive Academy ripped by Capitol

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Capitol Lions basketball team scored a decisive 58-25 triumph over the Thrive Academy Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Ascension Catholic Bulldogs (Donaldsonville, LA) in a non-league match, on Monday, January 16. Capitol will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 6-4 record after their 64-40 non-league loss to Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA).

With the defeat, Thrive Academy moves to 2-10 on the year. The Bulldogs host Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA) to meet the Hornets in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 18. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 8-3.
