Ozark Tigers (Ozark, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Carthage Tigers (Carthage, MO), 57-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Ozark upgrades its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Willard (Willard, MO) to play the Tigers in a Central Ozarks bout on Monday, January 30. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Tigers play the McDonald County Mustangs (Anderson, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Carthage will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 48-39 league loss to Seneca (Seneca, MO).
