Washington High School Basketball - Cheney overwhelmed by Central Valley

The Central Valley Bears basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Cheney Blackhawks to 31 in the Bears league victory on Friday.

The Bears now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Spokane for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane contest on Saturday, January 14. Central Valley will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 37-30 league win over Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-6.

The Blackhawks (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mead (Spokane, WA). The Panthers come into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Mead triumphed over North Central (Spokane, WA), 56-45, in a league contest.
