The St. Michael the Archangel Warriors basketball team (Fredericksburg, VA), was overwhelmed 61-19 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Christchurch School Seahorses (Christchurch, VA)
The Seahorses now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Norfolk Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 17. Christchurch School will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 47-37 league loss to Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.
The Warriors (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot was overwhelmed by Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA), 34-14, in a league battle.
