The Cranberry Area Berries basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Commodore Perry Panthers to 9 in the Berries non-league triumph on Friday.

The Berries now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarion Area for a Keystone Shortway - North contest on Wednesday, January 18. Cranberry Area will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 33-31 league loss to Clarion-Limestone (Strattanville, PA). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-5.

The Panthers (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Sharon (Sharon, PA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Sharon was routed by Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA), 45-31, in a league contest.
