Pennridge Rams (Perkasie, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Council Rock North Indians (Newtown, PA), 59-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pennridge upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Rams host Council Rock South (Holland, PA) to confront the Golden Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Council Rock South lost 50-45 in their recent non-league challenge against North Penn (Lansdale, PA)

Next up, the Indians confront the Gwynedd Mercy Academy Monarchs (Gwynedd Valley, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Council Rock North will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 40-32 league loss to Villa Maria Academy (Malvern, PA).
