The Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA) basketball crushed the host Creston Panthers (Creston, IA), 71-47 in Friday's league test.
The Titans (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Denison-Schleswig (Denison, IA). The Monarchs go into the Hawkeye Ten test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Denison-Schleswig was trounced by Boone (Boone, IA), 44-32, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Shenandoah for a Hawkeye Ten test on Tuesday, January 17. Creston will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 46-32 non-league win over Tri-Center (Neola, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-5.
