Forest Park Trojans (Crystal Falls, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Stephenson Eagles (Stephenson, MI), 38-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Forest Park upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Trojans host North Dickinson (Felch, MI) to play the Nordics in a Skyline bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Nordics go into the bout with a record of 1-7. North Dickinson won 55-26 in their recent league bout against North Central (Powers, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the Norway Knights (Norway, MI) in a Mid-Peninsula bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Stephenson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 10-0 record after their 76-25 non-league win over North Central (Powers, MI).
