Colorado High School Basketball - Gilpin County trounces SkyView Academy

January 13, 2023: Black Hawk, CO 80422

The Gilpin County Eagles (Black Hawk, CO) basketball crushed the visiting SkyView Academy Hawks (Highlands Ranch, CO), 65-38 in Friday's league test.

The Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Kiowa (Kiowa, CO). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 9-0 record. In their last test, Kiowa walloped Swallows Charter Academy (Pueblo West, CO), 47-22, in a non-league test.

The Hawks now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Clear Creek for a 3A/2A/1A Mile High bout on Tuesday, January 17. SkyView Academy will clash with a Golddiggers squad coming off a 34-14 league win over Denver Academy (Denver, CO). The Golddiggers record now stands at 1-6.
