Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Guilderland Flying Dutchman (Guilderland Center, NY), 77-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Shenendehowa upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Plainsmen travel to Fairport (Fairport, NY) to clash with the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 7-3.

Next up, the Flying Dutchman clash with the Albany Falcons (Albany, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Guilderland will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record.
