In Friday's league outing, the Hampton Roads Academy Navigators (Newport News, VA) basketball squad beat the visiting Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA), by a count of 47-37.
The Navigators (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Cape Henry Collegiate (Virginia Beach, VA). The Dolphins go into the TCIS outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Cape Henry Collegiate was topped by Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA), 37-35, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Christchurch School for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17. Norfolk Academy will clash with a Seahorses squad coming off a 61-19 non-league win over St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA). The Seahorses record now stands at 5-2.
