In Friday's league outing, the St. Pius X Lancers (Festus, MO) basketball squad beat the host Herculaneum Black Cats (Herculaneum, MO), by a count of 52-40.
The Lancers (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Grandview (Hillsboro, MO). The Eagles go into the Jefferson County - Small outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Grandview was topped by St. Vincent (Perryville, MO), 30-28, in a non-league outing.
