With the victory, Highland upgrades its record to 1-9 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Council (Council, ID) to play the Lumberjacks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Warriors play the Clark Fork Wampus Cats (Clark Fork, ID) in a 1A North Star challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Kootenai will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Wampus Cats come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 54-32 non-league loss to Wallace (Wallace, ID).
