The Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA) basketball crushed the host Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA), 57-36 in Friday's non-league test.
The Chieftains (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Marblehead (Marblehead, MA). The Magicians go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record.
The Sachems now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Danvers for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17.
