In Friday's non-league outing, the Meade Mustangs (Fort Meade, MD) basketball squad edged the visiting North East Indians (North East, MD), by a count of 43-40.
The Mustangs (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Severna Park (Severna Park, MD). The Falcons go into the Anne Arundel County outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Severna Park held off Old Mill (Millersville, MD), 44-43, in a league outing.
The Indians now hold a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Arundel for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17. North East will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 44-35 league loss to Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-11.
