The Mt. Baker Mountaineers basketball team (Deming, WA), dropped 63-52 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Squalicum Storm (Bellingham, WA)

The Storm now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sedro-Woolley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Tuesday, January 17. Squalicum will battle a Cubs team coming off a 66-25 league loss to Sehome (Bellingham, WA). The Cubs record now stands at 0-7.

The Mountaineers (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Blaine (Blaine, WA). The Borderites come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Blaine dropped by Lynden (Lynden, WA), 62-21, in a league battle.
