In Friday's league outing, the Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT) basketball squad edged the visiting New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT), by a count of 41-39.

The Warriors (2-6) will now prepare for their outing against Southington (Southington, CT). The Blue Knights go into the non-league outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Southington held off Farmington (Farmington, CT), 48-34, in a league outing.

The Rams now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to St. Joseph for a Fairfield County outing on Tuesday, January 17. New Canaan will clash with a Cadets squad coming off a 43-35 non-league win over Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Cadets record now stands at 8-2.
