In Friday's non-league outing, the North Pole Patriots (North Pole, AK) basketball squad beat the visiting Susitna Valley Rams (Talkeetna, AK), by a count of 39-21.
The Patriots (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Monroe Catholic (Fairbanks, AK). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Monroe Catholic was topped by Colony (Palmer, AK), 45-33, in a non-league outing.
The Rams now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Glennallen for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 14. Susitna Valley will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 37-23 non-league loss to Bethel (Bethel, AK). The Panthers record now stands at 5-1.
