Wallington Panthers (Wallington, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions (Paterson, NJ), 28-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Wallington upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Manchester Regional lost 45-12 in their recent non-league bout against Wood-Ridge (Wood-Ridge, NJ)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
