In Friday's non-league outing, the Penns Grove Red Devils (Carneys Point, NJ) basketball squad edged the host Salem County Vo-Tech (Woodstown, NJ), by a count of 54-47.
The Red Devils (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Schalick (Pittsgrove, NJ). The Cougars go into the Tri-County - Diamond outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Schalick held off Buena (Buena, NJ), 35-13, in a non-league outing.
The now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Salem for a Tri-County - Classic outing on Tuesday, January 31.
