Nebraska High School Basketball - Perkins County nips Wauneta-Palisade

Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE), 49-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Perkins County upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Plainsmen travel to Holyoke (Holyoke, CO) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 2-8.

Next up, the Broncos play the Garden County Eagles (Oshkosh, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Wauneta-Palisade will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Minatare (Minatare, NE).
