Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL), 68-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Plainfield North upgrades its record to 13-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Willowbrook won 39-29 in their recent league bout against Proviso East (Maywood, IL)

Next up, the Spartans play the Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie - East bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Romeoville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Bengals go into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 59-37 league win over Minooka (Minooka, IL).
