In Friday's league challenge, the Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) ice hockey team the host La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY), by a margin of 4-1.

The Plainsmen now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethlehem Central for a challenge on Wednesday, January 18.

The Cadets (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Queensbury (Queensbury, NY). The Spartans enter the challenge with a 8-3 record.
