Fayette County Tigers (Fayetteville, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA), 96-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Fayette County upgrades its record to 19-1 on the season. The Tigers host North Clayton (College Park, GA) to play the Eagles in a bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-7. North Clayton won 48-45 in their recent non-league bout against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA)

Next up, the Lions play the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Trinity Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 35-32 non-league loss to Hapeville Charter (Atlanta, GA).
