The McHenry Warriors basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Marengo Indians to 22 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnsburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. McHenry will battle a Skyhawks team coming off a 77-26 league win over Marengo (Marengo, IL). The Skyhawks record now stands at 12-4.
The Indians (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Woodstock (Woodstock, IL). The Blue Streaks enter the contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Woodstock was routed by Harlem (Machesney Park, IL), 51-12, in a non-league contest.
