The Miramar Patriots basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes to 35 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piper for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Miramar will meet a Bengals team coming off a 71-56 non-league win over Stoneman Douglas (Parkland, FL). The Bengals record now stands at 8-4.
The Golden Tornadoes (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Stranahan (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Mighty Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record.
