Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Pueblo County Hornets (Pueblo, CO), 58-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Palmer Ridge upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Lutheran (Parker, CO) to play the Lions in a bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Hornets play the Pueblo Central Wildcats (Pueblo, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Pueblo County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
