New Mexico High School Basketball - Rio Grande ripped by Valley

The Valley Vikings basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Rio Grande Ravens to 28 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albuquerque Academy for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 18. Valley will battle a Chargers team coming off a 60-57 non-league loss to Gallup (Gallup, NM). The Chargers record now stands at 7-4.
The Ravens (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Capital (Santa Fe, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Capital was routed by Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM), 63-51, in a non-league contest.
