Next, the Bulldogs confront the Eastmark Firebirds (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Goldwater will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Firebirds enter the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ).

The Panthers now possess a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lee Williams for a 4A Grand Canyon challenge on Wednesday, January 18. Coconino will confront a Volunteers team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Peoria (Peoria, AZ). The Volunteers record now stands at 0-6.
