Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates confront the Citrus Hurricanes (Inverness, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Crystal River will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to Lecanto (Lecanto, FL).
The Leopards now have a 1-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hudson for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. Hernando will confront a Cobras team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL). The Cobras record now stands at 9-9.
