In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Master's Academy Patriots soccer squad scored a close 7-0 triumph over the Merritt Island Christian Cougars.

The Patriots (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against Winthrop College Prep Academy (Riverview, FL). The Spartans enter the non-league bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Winthrop College Prep Academy tipped First Academy (Leesburg, FL), 3-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the First Academy Eagles (Leesburg, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Merritt Island Christian will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record.
