California High School Soccer - Riverdale knocks off Minarets

The Riverdale Cowboys soccer team scored 14 points and limited the host Minarets Mustangs to 0 in the Cowboys league victory on Friday.

Next, the Cowboys face the Caruthers Blue Raiders (Caruthers, CA) in a Northwest Sequoia contest, on Thursday, January 19. Riverdale will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Blue Raiders enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA).

The Mustangs now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fowler for a Northwest Sequoia contest on Tuesday, January 17. Minarets will face a Redcats team coming off a 4-2 league win over Liberty (Madera, CA). The Redcats record now stands at 5-8.
