Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pineville Rebels (Pineville, LA) and the host Beau Chene Gators (Arnaudville, LA), saw Pineville's basketball squad hold off Beau Chene by a tally of 46-41.

With the victory, Pineville improves its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Rebels host St. Frederick (Monroe, LA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 9-7.

Next up, the Gators confront the Cecilia Bulldogs (Cecilia, LA) in a 4A District 5 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Beau Chene will attempt to improve on its 13-10 season record.
