The Berkeley Prep Buccaneers (Tampa, FL) basketball crushed the host Palmetto Tigers (Palmetto, FL), 72-41 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Buccaneers (12-2) will now prepare for their test against North Port (North Port, FL). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, North Port was trounced by Cardinal Mooney (Sarasota, FL), 67-52, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Calvary Christian for a non-league test on Monday, January 15. Palmetto will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 57-52 non-league loss to Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 8-8.
