California High School Basketball - Bernstein can't hold off Hoover

The Hoover Cardinals basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Bernstein Dragons to 56 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cardinals now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scripps Ranch for a Eastern contest on Tuesday, January 16. Hoover will battle a Falcons team coming off a 60-57 league loss to Coronado (Coronado, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 11-10.

The Dragons (16-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pacifica (Oxnard, CA). The Tritons come into the non-league contest with a 7-13 record. In their last contest, Pacifica was nudged by San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA), 78-58, in a league contest.
