The John Champe Knights basketball team (Aldie, VA), dropped 76-67 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Bowie Bulldogs (Bowie, MD)
The Bulldogs now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bladensburg for a Prince George's County 4A battle on Tuesday, January 16. Bowie will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 50-41 non-league loss to Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-6.
The Knights (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA). The Wolverines come into the Catoctin battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Woodgrove prevailed over Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA), 83-81, in a non-league battle.
