Neenah Rockets (Neenah, WI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Brookfield East Spartans (Brookfield, WI), 62-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Neenah upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI) to play the Wildcats in a Fox Valley bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Oshkosh West won 72-64 in their recent league bout against Appleton East (Appleton, WI)

Next up, the Spartans play the West Allis Central Bulldogs (West Allis, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Brookfield East will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 88-46 league win over Greendale (Greendale, WI).
