With the victory, Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate upgrades its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to Winthrop College Prep Academy (Riverview, FL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 11-8. Winthrop College Prep Academy lost 53-47 in their recent non-league bout against McKeel Academy (Lakeland, FL)

Next up, the Spartans play the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers (Tampa, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 71-41 non-league win over North Port (North Port, FL).
