Wapato Wolves (Wapato, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cashmere Bulldogs (Cashmere, WA), 61-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wapato upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Wolves travel to Toppenish (Toppenish, WA) to play the Wildcats in a 1A South Central - West bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-11. Toppenish lost 75-45 in their recent league bout against Zillah (Zillah, WA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Cle Elum-Roslyn Warriors (Cle Elum, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Cashmere will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 47-44 league win over White Swan (White Swan, WA).
