The Floyd County Buffaloes tipped the visiting Chilhowie Warriors basketball team by a final score of 43-37 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Buffaloes face the Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA) in a Three Rivers game, on Thursday, January 18. Floyd County will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record.

With the defeat, Chilhowie moves to 8-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Holston (Damascus, VA) to face the Cavaliers in a Hogoheegee game on Tuesday, January 16. The Cavaliers enter the game with a record of 6-7.
