Cimarron Rams (Cimarron, NM) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM), 81-68 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cimarron upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Rams travel to Mora (Mora, NM) to clash with the Rangers/Rangerettes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Rangers/Rangerettes go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Mora lost 52-50 in their recent non-league bout against McCurdy (Espanola, NM)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Cuba Rams (Cuba, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Penasco will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record.
